Food and Tunes: Fundraiser for Turkey and Syria
Welcome to our fundraiser event for Turkey and Syria on April 28th!
We believe the love for food and music can serve a higher purpose beyond feeding our bodies and souls. Together, let us help heal the wounds opened by the earthquakes that have yet to be fully closed.
On February 6th, two devastating earthquakes struck Turkey and Syria, leaving behind a confirmed death toll of around 60000 among Turkish, Syrian, and Kurdish communities. Hundreds of thousands of people were rendered homeless, and millions were displaced. The aftermath of this tragic disaster will be felt for years to come. It is our responsibility as unaffected individuals to lend a helping hand and raise funds for those in need while keeping the media’s attention on the ongoing crises.
At the event, you will have the opportunity to taste various dishes that showcase the rich and vibrant flavours of middle eastern cuisine from the food market, along with chill DJ performances.
Giving back can be meaningful and enjoyable, and we can't wait to share this experience with you. Come out, and enjoy some delicious food and great music while contributing to a positive change in the world. Every little bit counts, and together we can make a significant difference!

*While there is an entry fee, the amount is entirely voluntary.
*All proceeds from the event will be equally donated to three reliable local organisations Ahbap, Molham Team, and Heyva Sor.
